This delightful farmhouse has been completely restored and is divided into 4 apartments in addition to the home of your hosts Elisabetta and Mario. The property is a working farm and the house is surrounded by carefully tended fields and oak woodland and offers a complete escape from the stresses of city life. It features a large swimming pool with sun lounges and each apartment has an outdoor dining table for summer dinners al fresco.
The surrounding area is ideal for country walks, hikes and mountain bike excursions. The Singerna mountain stream is in walking distance for a traditional Italian country dip, a spot of fishing, a picnic or you may opt to follow the stream to the lake.
Just minutes from Caprese Michelangelo, the birthplace of the famous sculptor, the farmhouse is close to many excellent restaurants that offer authentic local dishes including Florentine steaks, truffle and porcini mushroom specialty dishes at fair prices. The characteristic medieval hilltop town of Anghiari is 15 mins and Sansepolcro, [birthplace of Piero della Francesca] in the valley a 25 minute drive with many supermarkets, specialty stores and significant bi weekly market.
The Apartments may be rented individually or larger groups may book the entire complex.

Situated on the ground floor, consists of one double bedroom, well appointed bathroom with shower and full kitchen with dining.
Il Rifugio [sleeps 2-3]
Also on the ground floor, consists of one double bedroom, well appointed bathroom with shower and full kitchen with dining
Il Caminetto [sleeps 4]
Located on the first floor it features 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 singles plus well appointed bathroom with shower, full kitchen with dining area
Il Nido [sleeps 6]
On the second level, consists of 2 double bedrooms plus additional bedroom with 2 singles. One well appointed bathroom with shower plus full kitchen with dining area.
All the apartments have satellite TV.
The Rates
The apartments are generally rented on a weekly basis but may subject to availability be rented on a daily basis for a minimum of 2 nights.
