Literally on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, this beautifully restored family homestead is the perfect spot for either a group of friends wanting to spend a week enjoying the Tuscan countryside (biking, walking, driving) or a large family getting together for a reunion.
The three apartments are totally self-contained, each with a well-equipped kitchen furnished with the cooking essentials. You can comfortably cook for yourself and guests, heat up some take-away food, or enjoy a specially catered meal. The two upstairs apartments have balconies with views over the countryside and the farm, and the ground floor has a large patio for al fresco dining, whatever the weather.
In addition a local cook may be called in to prepare a 4 course meal for you in the little restaurant within the farmhouse estate from euro 26 per person. The property is ideally suited to weddings or other special events and catering services can be arranged for up to 40 guests.
The spacious bedrooms are elegantly furnished and each enjoys private en suite bathroom facilities. However, if needs be a cot or sofa bed can be provided for an extra family member or child/infant. Guests are naturally provided with extra towels for the pool and there are good laundry facilities on the property.
With independent entrances to each apartment they can be rented separately, although in the summer months the owners prefer to rent the property as a whole for groups of 12-16. DVD and satellite TV in each apartment and computer access is also part of the service, but high speed Internet access is not yet available in this part of the countryside.
The ample grounds are available for guests to enjoy, with picnic and children’s play equipment, while more strenuous activities such as biking, walking, swimming, crossbow or tennis can be easily organised in the area. The owner’s son Luca is a competitive cyclist and can organise mountain bike tours and excursions over all levels of terrain. He knows the whole of the Valtiberina valley and mountains extremely well and is always happy to share his knowledge with guests. Conveniently Luca speaks English fluently!

The weekly rates are inclusive of power, gas and weekly cleaning, linen including pool towels and free use of laundry facilities. Central heating when required is calculated based on consumption.
During the off peak months the 3 apartments may be rented individually with the exception of New Years. Please apply for individual apartment rates.
Rentals of less than a week are also accepted during the off peak season with a minimum stay of 3 nights
