Fede & Lilli's Farmhouse (#105)
Tastefully restored 16th century stone farmhouse within the grounds of magnificent castle on the Tuscan Umbrian border.
The Farmhouse has been divided into 5 apartments varying in size and each with its own outdoor dining table and independent area for al fresco dining. The large swimming pool is available for all the guests to enjoy with each apartment entitled to their own sun umbrella with 2 sun loungers. From the pool one enjoys a lovely view of the estates very own medieval castle as well as the carefully tended fields that surround the property!
In addition to the wonderful pool there is a huge well maintained lawn ideal for kids plus cypress and oak trees, lavender, rosemary, dog rose and wild laurel hedges. The historical farmhouse is situated on the banks of a small stream that marks the border between Tuscany and Umbria.
All guests staying in the farmhouse apartments are entitled to a tour of the castle by your warm hostesses Federica & Lilli. The 360 degree panorama from the turreted roof of the castle is just spectacular, the perfectly preserved castle jailhouse decidedly spooky and the underground vaulted wine cellar absolutely amazing. Pre-dinner drinks for large groups may be enjoyed [by arrangement] in this special cellar.
The apartments may be rented individually or larger groups may book the entire farmhouse, rentals are generally from Saturday to Saturday but in shoulder or low season [or subject to availability] may be rented on a nightly basis, minimum 2 nights.
They are situated just minutes from the castle itself and thus provide ideal additional accommodation for larger wedding parties or conventions to be held at the castle. The complex is just 1 km from the centre of a medieval hilltop village rich in history and culture.
All guests may use the BBQ facilities, enjoy secure parking and there is also a communal laundry room.
THE APARTMENTS
Margherita [sleeps 4 -5]
Located on the ground floor, comprises 1 double bedroom plus second bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom, dining/living room with kitchen facilities, open fireplace and satellite TV with possibility to accommodate a fifth guest on the sofa/divan.
Tulipano [sleeps 4 –5]
On the first floor and comprising 1 double bedroom plus second bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom, dining/living room with kitchen facilities [including dishwasher], open fireplace and satellite TV and possibility to accommodate a fifth guest on the sofa/divan.
Geranio [sleeps 4]
Situated on the first floor of the farmhouse, comprises 1 double bedroom with second bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom, dining room with kitchen facilities and satellite TV.
Girasole [sleeps 4]
Located in an independent stone cottage adjacent to the farmhouse. Comprises one double bedroom plus second bedroom featuring 2 bunk beds and bathroom on the upper level. Dining room/kitchen with dishwasher and access to patio plus an adjoining lounge with satellite TV.
Violetta [sleeps 2- 3]
Situated on the ground floor and comprising 1 double bedroom plus 1 single room, bathroom and kitchen/dining with satellite TV.
The Rates
The apartments are generally rented on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday but subject to availability may be rented on a daily basis for a minimum of 2 nights.

The apartments are generally rented on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday but there is more flexibility in off peak season.
Festive weekends such as Easter, Xmas and New Year are at High season rates.
Weekly cleaning €70 per apt
A fully refundable Security deposit of euro 200 per/apartment is due on arrival
The weekly rates are inclusive of taxes, power and linen but exclude any central heating costs in the winter months. [Charged at rate of euro 5 per m3 of consumption and Estate firewood euro 5 per chest.]
Additional tariff for provision of cot: € 50 per week
Local chef available at euro 15 per hour and experienced babysitter at euro 12 per hour if required. These must be organised a few days in advance.
