Situated in the Upper Tiber Valley, between Tuscany and Umbria, the farmhouse is part of an historical hamlet, restored & furnished with care with a full respect for history & tradition.
While in the countryside of the Upper Tiber Valley, the property is just a 7 minute drive from the historical towns of Sansepolcro & Anghiari, both of which are rich in art, history & culture with many good restaurants & bi weekly markets. A small town with a grocery store and bar is within walking distance.
Rosario is able to provide catered meals, from a casual BBQ or wood oven fired pizza’s to a 4 course wedding reception. He is fully committed to ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable stay and thus is on hand to satisfy any request.
The Farmhouse is ideally suited to groups of 10 – 14 with outdoor dining beside the private pool, alternatively in the large communal dining room.
The warmth of the handmade bricks, the solidity of the stones & scent of the traditional chestnut beams will transport you back into an atmosphere of past times.
The Farmhouse comprises 5 apartments that can be rented individually or for larger groups , the entire property may be yours with exclusive use of the swimming pool and gardens.

The Peach tree
On choosing The Peach tree, a small jewel overlooking the tranquil garden, it’s like entering an impressionist painting. The pink used by Monet and Gaugin’s shades of blue will add to your holidays’ unforgettable moments.
The Apple tree
The different shades of color will envelop you in the warm atmosphere that was created just for you.
With an independent terrace overlooking the medieval village of Anghiari,
Apple tree is ideal for hosting a couple who don’t want to surrender their privacy while enjoying all the services offered by the Relais.
The Pear tree
The wise choice of various shades of green, the call of the leaves and vegetation present in the paintwork of the rooms, in the shade of the curtains and printed fabrics, evoke an atmosphere of total relaxation. Convenient and comfortable, located in a cool and shaded arcade with easy access to the pool; it was designed to accommodate people with disabilities.
The Pomegranate tree
The Pomegranate is designed to accommodate larger groups;
Up to six people comfortably. In the large living area, located on the first floor, with an amazing view of the pool, the yellow of the sunflowers will embrace you.
You will find too relaxation in the colour green of the curtains, similar to that of the forests of the Apennine hills.
The Cherry tree
Inspired by the color red used by the artist “ Burri “ , ( emblem of the structure ) derived from the renovation of an old stone tower, originally used for drying tobacco.
You will enjoy staying here for the privacy you have always wanted, lulled by the unforgettable views that can be seen from the spacious terrace on the first floor.
Upstairs : reached by an inside staircase, the atmosphere of red cherries will frame the panorama that extends to the surrounding hills and famous medieval towns of Anghiari and Citerna.
The apartments provide all the comforts, spacious and fully-equipped kitchen ( 4 gas cooker, electric oven, large fridge with freezer), shower unit, TV Lcd/digital, Internet Wi-Fi, clothes horse. Hair dryer and electric iron, free on demand. Finished and furnished with great attention given to details.
The antique furniture matches well with the predominant color of each apartment using shades of color perfectly in tone with nature.
Guests have a large living room with an old fireplace, a spacious patio , where they can enjoy unforgettable al fresco with garden furniture provided for each apartment; a beautiful swimming pool with adjoining solarium, an orchard and an organic vegetable garden. There is also a wood oven and barbecue.
The discreet presence of the owners ensures you have any information you may require and, on request, assistance for additional services such as transfers, shopping, hiking and a guide for excursions ( touristic and cultural ).
Set in the Umbrian countryside on the border with Tuscany, the heart of a region rich in historic gems, art and culture, guests have many choices for gourmet & wine trails, for enjoying local mushrooms and truffles accompanied by fine Tuscan & Umbrian wines.
For art lovers there are many jewels to visit, one or two each day : Sansepolcro for the famous ‘The resurrection’ by Renaissnace painter Piero della Francesca, Arezzo, Anghiari medieval village, Monterchi for the famous frescos “ La Madonna del parto “, Caprese Michelangelo : Buonarroti (place of birth ), Monte Fumaiolo, Citerna, Cortona, Siena, Firenze, Roma, Urbino, Assisi with Giotto frescoes, Spello, Gubbio, Perugia, Chiusi della Verna for San Francesco monastery, Repubblica di San Marino.
For sports lovers, cycling holidays, trekking around our territory, fishing 2 km, windsurfing on Montedoglio lake 8 km, sport-centre with tennis-court, gym and five-a-side (football ) at 1 km, golf course and horse riding school at 1,5 and 5 km.
The nearest supermarket is 1km from the property with a restaurant at 2km and chemist & shopping centre at 3km.
