Civil ceremonies may be held in the historical town hall of Anghiari, voted one of Italy’s most charming hilltop towns. There are an abundance of locations for very special wedding shots. Alternative locations include several historical local churches.
Justine has been coordinating weddings since 2006, from assisting with the preparation of necessary documents and acting as an interpreter, to attending to details such as floral arrangements and wedding party car hire. Her 12 years in Tuscany mean that she is fully qualified to handle all aspects of the wedding.
Wedding receptions may be held at virtually all Tuscan rental properties listed on this site with 4-course catered meals or buffet feasts for larger groups. You may collaborate with Justine to design your personalised wedding menu accommodating all of your preferences and requirements. In addition, chef Margherita Ostento, based in Florence, may be called in for Wedding receptions and other special functions. Price per head, from EUR 50 – 150. Alternatively, Justine may assist with menu selection for your reception at a number of fine restaurants in the Upper Tiber Valley.
In April 2009 a significant and historical local castle is reopening after some restoration work. The castle and nearby Tuscan farmhouse within the castle’s estate are able to accommodate up to 50 guests. Full wedding catering services are available for groups of up to 300 guests and additional accommodations may be arranged in the immediate area for wedding parties of more than 50.
A truly memorable Tuscan Wedding may be celebrated either within the actual castle in the splendid reception rooms on the ground floor, and over the summer months, in the charming castle grounds. This fairytale hilltop castle is located on the Tuscan/Umbrian border and enjoys a picture-perfect countryside panorama.
